British scholar Gavin Menzies stated that the Chinese Admiral and his fleet reached the Cuban shores in 1421.
I cannot confirm or deny such information. The arrival of Admiral Zeng’s fleet is debatable, but not the recent entrance in Havana Bay of the Chinese with 12 locomotives, the modernization of the railroad system and one thousand buses for Cubans' benefit.
China already surpassed Spain and leaped to second place in the list of Cuba’s main trade partners. The way things are going, Spain will be also surpassed by Canada, Venezuela, Brazil, the U.K. and the U.S. Are you wondering why?
Now, the Chinese not only displace us in trade, but also work intensively on the flow of tourism. Any time now we’ll wake up to discover they have the largest emission of tourists to the Caribbean.
We are so lethargic that we do not realize we are losing ground even in history and will remain in ignorance, moving backwards while the peoples founded by our ancestors move forward because they broke their chains as Cuba did. In Cuban universities there are modern facilities for Chinese language teaching donated by the Chinese authorities, and joint ventures which progress at good speed. According to travelers who return from the island, each day more and more Chinese are seen in the streets of Havana. They are studying the market and learning Spanish.
In 2005, Cuban foreign trade grew 23% and the commercial exchange reached 10 billion pesos. This was a higher figure than the one registered in 1991 before the Special Period after the fall of the Socialist Bloc. At that time I visited the island and the country’s economy had hit bottom.
The American continent has 50% in Cuba's balance of trade, while Europe only has 29%. Asia is the third continent with 19%. The top position is occupied by China which shows a constant and steady growth.
History shows that if the U.S. seized half the territory of Mexico in the past, it is now ready to take away the entire Mexican Gulf and therefore needs an obliging government in Havana which proves loyal to U.S. interests. The European governments and the Mexican government know this, but they do not challenge the Empire because they expect to get a good share.
If we continue the policy of being U.S. servants in exchange for the few crumbs they’ll distribute when Cuba, as a ripe apple --according to them – falls into their clutches, we’ll die in the process waiting for the impossible. Life shows there are different kinds of apples.
We live in the 21st Century and the sun cannot be blocked with a finger. Let’s wake up and see reality: America marches along its own path. Cuba announces the discovery of a new vaccine; just imagine: an antigen which in only one shot immunizes against five terrible diseases which attack children: influenza haemophilus B, hepatitis B, diphtheria, tetanus and whooping cough. They are beginning to speak and teach Chinese, a large sector of the population speaks Russian, French, German or English. It is said they will offer Quechua language lessons on TV. And they contribute to literacy campaigns for Latin American peoples.
The Cuban education system has been acknowledged by UNESCO. It seems this apple is not the one the U.S. invented, because it has defied the gravitational force imposed by the Empire. In other words, while fools believe the ripe apple is about to fall, the fruit is producing excellent nourishment and the seeds have bloomed into new and sturdy plants.

No aseguro ni niego esta información, las naves del almirante Zeng pueden ponerse en dudas, pero no la llegada de los chinos a Cuba en este siglo, para bien de los cubanos, en estos días, con 12 locomotoras, la modernización del ferrocarril y mil autobuses que entraron por al puerto de la Habana.
China ya desplazó a España en su comercio con Cuba y saltó al segundo lugar y al paso que van las cosas, en el comercio, nos quedamos detrás de China, y también de Canadá, Venezuela, Brasil, Inglaterra y los propios Estados Unidos. ¿Ustedes se han preguntado por qué?.
Ahora los chinos no sólo nos desplazan en el comercio, sino que trabajan intensamente en el flujo de turismo. En cualquier momento nos despertamos con la noticia de que son los primeros emisores de viajeros a los países caribeños.
Estamos tan dormidos que ni nos damos cuenta que cedemos hasta en la historia y seguiremos en la ignorancia, retrocediendo, mientras los pueblos que fundaron nuestros antepasados avanzan, porque se han quitado las cadenas, como es el caso de Cuba en cuyas universidades funcionan modernos equipos para el aprendizaje del idioma chino donado por las autoridades de ese país y las empresas mixtas van a un ritmo envidiable. Según los que vienen de la isla, cada vez se ven más y más chinos por las calles de La Habana estudiando el mercado y el idioma español.
En el 2005 el comercio exterior de Cuba creció un 23 % y el intercambio comercial se acercó a los 10 000 millones de pesos, con lo cual se superó lo registrado en 1991, antes de lo que ellos llamaron el periodo especial con la caída del bloque soviético. En ese tiempo yo visité la isla y la economía del país estaba en el fondo.
El continente americano ocupa el 50 % en la balanza comercial de Cuba, mientras Europa cubre ahora sólo el 29 %. Asia es el tercer continente en la lista con el 19 %, donde se destaca la participación de China en constante y sostenido aumento.
La historia muestra que si en detarminado momento Estados Unidos le quitó la mitad del territorio a México, se prepara para arrebatarle el golfo completo y para ello necesita un gobierno servil en La Habana y fiel a sus intereses. Los gobiernos europeos y el de México lo saben y no se enfrentan al Imperio, porque esperan sus buenas tajadas.
Si continuamos con la política de servidores de los Estados Unidos a cambio de las migajas que esperan repartir cuando Cuba, como una manzana podrida, según ellos, caiga en sus garras, moriremos esperando ese imposible hecho. Se ha descubierto que existen manzanas diferentes.
Estamos en el siglo XXI y no se puede tapar el sol con el dedo. Que despierten los dormidos y aprecien la realidad, América avanza por sus propios caminos. En Cuba se anuncia el descubrimiento de una nueva vacuna, imagínese usted, un antígeno que en una sola inyección inmuniza para cinco terribles enfermedades que atacan a los niños, la bacteria de influenza haenophilus B, hepatitis B, difteria, tétanos y tosferina. Se habla y se aprende el idioma chino, y una amplia gama de la población habla el ruso, el francés, el alemán y el inglés, y se dice que van a impartir hasta el quechua, por la televisión. Además de contribuir a la alfabetización en los pueblos de América.
El Sistema de Educación Cubano ha sido reconocido por la UNESCO. Esa manzana no es la que ellos inventaron, porque ha vencido la fuerza de gravedad que impone el Imperio. O sea que mientras los tontos piensan que la manzana madura va a caer, ya ella ha dado exquisito dulce y sus semillas se han convertido en nuevas y frondosas plantas.
