North American singer and music producer responds to anti-Cuban lawmakers Ileana Ros-Lehtinen and Mario Diaz-Balart who attacked him for his recent trip to Cuba with Beyoncé.

Jay-Z has a new song, but it's not in vain. The rapper decided to challenge all the politicians who criticized the trip he made with his wife Beyoncé to Havana, Cuba. That's how the Open Letter was born. The rapper launched it on Thursday after two Republican lawmakers from Florida (Ileana Ros-Lehtinen and Mario Diaz-Balart) questioned whether his visit to Havana with his wife Beyoncé had been officially authorized and thus they should be legally charged for it. The letter is produced by Timbaland and Swizz Beatz, and says something like "Politicians have never done anything for me / except lie to distort history." He also sings "They want me to give jail time and a fine, well, let me commit a real crime." The two congressmembers who questioned his trip to Cuba for allegedly serving to help a "communist", Jay-Z says, "I'm in Cuba,  I love Cubans love. This discourse on communism is confusing since when it comes to China the very microphone that I'm using [is from China]. " According to Swizz Beatz, the theme came up in the blink of an eye, "I had the drum machine with me me, then we went to 40/40 to watch the game. Timbaland came up with this crazy pace. The next morning I called Jay-Z with the lines ". Because of the blockade imposed by Washingon for the last 5 decades, U.S. citizens are not allowed to travel to Cuba for sightseeing, they can only do so through special licenses for visits of academic, religious, and cultural journalism exchanges.

El cantante y productor norteamericano responde con música a los legisladores anticubanos Ileana Ross y Mario Díaz Balart que lo atacaron por su reciente viaje a Cuba junto a Beyoncé.

Jay-Z tiene nueva canción, pero no llega en vano. El rapero decidió tirarle con todo a los políticos que criticaron el viaje que realizó junto a su esposa Beyoncé a la Habana, Cuba. Así fue como nació Open Letter.

El rapero lanzó hoy jueves el tema luego que dos legisladores republicanos de Florida (Ileana Ross y Mario Díaz-Balart) cuestionaron si su visita a La Habana con su esposa Beyoncé había sido autorizada oficialmente y que debían ser acusados legalmente por ello .

El tema está bajo la producción de Timbaland y Swizz Beatz , y dice algo como “Los políticos nunca han hecho nada por mí/ excepto mentirme distorsionar la historia”.

También les canta “Ellos me quieren dar un tiempo en la cárcel y una multa, bien, déjenme cometer un crimen real”.

A los dos congresistas que cuestionaron su viaje a Cuba por supuestamente servir para ayudar a un “régimen comunista”, Jay-Z les dice: “Estoy en Cuba, amo a los cubanos.  Este discurso sobre el comunismo es muy confuso, cuando viene de China el mismísimo micrófono que estoy usando”.

De acuerdo con Swizz Beatz, el tema salió en un abrir y cerrar de ojos, “tenía la caja de ritmos conmigo, entonces nos fuimos al 40/40 para ver el partido. Timbaland llegó con este loco ritmo. La mañana siguiente Jay-Z me llamó con los versos”.

A causa del bloqueo impuesto por Washingon desde hace 5 décadas, los ciudadanos estadunidenses no tienen permiso de viajar a Cuba a hacer turismo, sólo pueden hacerlo a través de licencias especiales para realizar visitas de intercambio académico, religioso, periodístico y cultural.
