El “periodista”, y presunto premio Sajarov, hizo tales declaraciones a pesar de reconocer que “no posee suficiente información para calificar como justa o no la acción que llevan adelante los comuneros”. Curioso periodista que opina sobre un tema sobre el que confiesa públicamente su ignorancia. El “pacifista” cubano, quien notó además una incongruencia en “el método de lucha de los mapuches”, estuvo dos veces en prisión en Cuba por atentar contra la integridad física de dos personas, o sea, por usar la violencia. En 1995 agredió físicamente a una funcionaria de la institución de salud donde laboraba como sicólogo, ocasionándole múltiples lesiones en el rostro y, en el 2002, golpeó fuertemente con un bastón a un anciano que había impedido un acto terrorista de un enviado personal del criminal Luis Posada Carriles.
