BOGOTÁ, 30 de julio.— El líder de las Fuerzas Armadas Revolucionarias de Colombia (FARC), Alfonso Cano, realizó un llamado al nuevo Gobierno de Juan Manuel Santos, presidente electo en Colombia, para "buscar a través del diálogo y las conversaciones, propuestas políticas de la diplomacia", a fin de lograr una salida negociada al conflicto armado con la participación "de la mayoría de los colombianos".

"Exigimos frente a los hermanos gobiernos del continente que el gobierno actual de Colombia se comprometiera a que no va a emprender ninguna aventura de carácter militar contra territorio soberano de Venezuela", agregó Maduro, y precisó que ante las actitudes asumidas por el Canciller colombiano, al insistir en las manipulaciones y mentiras contra Venezuela, esto solo puede calificarse como "una posición obsesionada con la guerra, con la violencia, con las armas".
