Evo reiterates Bolivia will have its own satellite

LA PAZ, October 23 .- Bolivian President Evo Morales said his country
will have its own satellite in space orbit in at least three years to
make it serve the economic, social and technological.
Compliance with the targets established for that purpose shall have a
timely follow-up, the head of state said at the signing of the
memorandum of understanding between a Chinese delegation,
representatives of the International Telecommunication Union (ITU) and
the Bolivian Government authorities.
He highlighted the work done during the last three days by the
tripartite committee to reach a first agreement, in which the parties
agree to begin construction of the modern satellite, according to PL.
GAZPROM ENROLL PROJECT
Another PL office realizes that the Russian consortium Gazprom, through
its scientific arm VNIIGAZ, has put a development project of the
Bolivian gas industry, commissioned by the Andean country's government,
stressed on Friday the newspaper Cambio.
According to statements VNIIGAZ CEO Alexander Kazak, collected by the
Bolivian Chamber of Hydrocarbons (CBH), the fundamental premises of the
project are to assure natural gas supplies for long term customers and
improve production technologies, transport, storage and processing
energy.

Reitera Evo que Bolivia tendrá satélite propio

PAZ, 23 de octubre.— El presidente boliviano, Evo Morales, afirmó que su
país tendrá su propio satélite en la órbita espacial en al menos tres
años, para ponerlo al servicio del desarrollo económico, social y
tecnológico.
El cumplimiento de las metas establecidas para ese propósito tendrá un
seguimiento puntual, manifestó el jefe de Estado, durante la firma del
memorándum de entendimiento entre una delegación china, representantes
de la Unión Internacional de Telecomunicaciones (UIT), y autoridades del
Gobierno boliviano.
Destacó el trabajo realizado durante los tres últimos días por la
comisión tripartita para alcanzar un primer acuerdo, en el que las
partes se comprometen a iniciar la construcción del moderno satélite,
según PL.
GAZPROM ALISTA PROYECTO
Otro despacho de PL da cuenta de que el consorcio ruso Gazprom, a través
de su brazo científico VNIIGAZ, tiene listo un proyecto de desarrollo de
la industria de gas boliviana, elaborado por encargo del Gobierno del
país andino, destaca este viernes el diario Cambio.
Según declaraciones del director general de VNIIGAZ, Alexandr Kazak,
recogidas por la Cámara Boliviana de Hidrocarburos (CBH), las premisas
fundamentales del proyecto son asegurar el suministro de gas natural
para los clientes a largo plazo y perfeccionar las tecnologías de
producción, transporte, almacenamiento y procesamiento del energético.
