As it has been informed by the media, the concert Peace without Borders will take place at the historical José Martí Revolution Square in Havana. On this occasion, a large group of renowned artists coming from several countries, along with important figures from the island, will offer the best of their art. The concert will begin at 2:00 p.m., so that it can broadcast live in European countries, given the difference of time zones between Cuba and Europe, its duration (it’s estimated that it will last some five hours), and the impossibility of acquiring and moving to the country the considerable load of electric and lighting equipment were the concert at night time. Organizers and institutions have been following weather conditions through the week at different times of the day, finding that the average temperature at the Revolution Square area is between 32 and 33 degrees Celsius. It is therefore advisable that people attending the concert take measures to protect themselves from the sun and intense heat. It’s recommended to wear caps or hats, and bring water, candies and sweets. Soft drinks and fast food will be on sale in the surrounding areas. Health and community institutions and other organizations have taken every measure to guarantee attention to the public, artists and technicians. The public will be able to access the square starting from 12:00 noon on Sunday from the following streets: Paseo and Zapata, Carlos Manuel de Céspedes and Zapata, 39th and Paseo and 19 de Mayo and Ayestarán. The world will enjoy of the concert on television, since it will be available for broadcasting for free. We’re sure that this concert will be a real fiesta of peace and that it will have a massive influx of youngsters and people in general, with the enthusiasm and joy characterizing Cubans.
