Venezuelan Lawyers Pay Tribute to Ernesto Che Guevara
They
said their meeting with Fidel changes the meaning of their lives, and
expressed their admiration for the fortitude of the Cuban Revolution

The
news broadcast by Cuba’s national television newscast on Sunday night
spread like wildfire throughout the island, besides being reported by
the main media outlets from around the world. Fidel is really well!,
something corroborated by the ten young Venezuelan lawyers graduated
from the University of Carabobo, members of the second "Fidel Castro"
graduation, who paid tribute to Ernesto Che Guevara and to his
Detachment of Reinforcements and toured different historical sites in
Santa Clara on Monday.

Marco Montilla, the young lawyer who conversed with Fidel for the
longest period of time, expressed that he found him as firm and
clear-thinking as usual, transcending with his ideas. "Fidel’s speech is
inseparable from life", said the jurist, who explained that the struggle
for the release of the Cuban Five unjustly incarcerated in the United
States, the double standards of the empire and its media war against
progressive forces in Latin America, and the effects of the world
economic crisis and climate changes were among the issues discussed
during the meeting.
For Triana Moricha, the meeting was an unforgettable experience, which
showed her, once again, that in order to know Fidel you just have to
speak with any Cuban, because he’s the synthesis of his people. “The
Commander in Chief is as strong as an ox, he looks very strong; he spoke
for three and a half hours, asked us questions, and reflected with us on
different issues with extraordinary clarity, said the young woman,
overcome by emotion.
For her part, Gisela León pointed out that the meeting went beyond all
expectations. She explained that when the door was opened and they saw
Fidel standing up, firm and proud –the opposite of what media outlets at
the service of the powerful have said about him-, they began to cry with
emotion. "I found him a very humane person, a simple man, who made a
deep impression on us with his intelligence. The dialogue was a keynote
lecture, in which the most diverse subjects were tackled."
Another of the young women who participated in this exchange with the
Revolution leader was Iriesmar Parada, who said that choosing Fidel as
their graduation godfather was a felicitous idea, which is a great
responsibility before the peoples, because we’re talking about one of
the greatest men in American history, to whom they must be faithful.

of paying tribute to the Heroic Guerrilla. There’s no greater stated
Iván Osorio, who asked us to tell the Cuban people that Fidel looks

"He has an imposing figure, which transmits, at his 83 years of age, an
incredible energy", said Osorio, who admitted on behalf of the group
that the meeting had changed the meaning of their lives, after taking on

The words expressed by Juan Romero recognized that Fidel’s example is
present in the selfless dedication of each of the Cuban doctors,
trainers, professors and technicians now offering their voluntary
services in Venezuela.
In the afternoon, the group toured the Monument to the Action against
the Armored Train and Che’s Command Headquarters at the Marta Abreu
Central University in Las ViIlas. Their visit to Cuba is scheduled to
end on Tuesday, after a visit to historical sites of the Heroic City of
Santiago de Cuba, on the eastern side of the island, from where the will
return to Venezuela.

Che jóvenes abogados de Venezuela
Expresaron que el encuentro sostenido con Fidel cambió el sentido de sus
vidas, y mostraron admiración por la fortaleza del líder de la
Revolución

La noticia
transmitida por el Noticiero de la Televisión Cubana la noche del
domingo circuló como pólvora por toda Cuba, además de ser reseñada por
los principales medios noticiosos del mundo ¡Qué bien está Fidel!,
criterios corroborados por los diez jóvenes abogados graduados de la
Universidad de Carabobo, integrantes de la segunda promoción "Fidel
Castro", quienes este lunes rindieron tributo al Che y su Destacamento
de Refuerzo, y recorrieron diferentes sitios históricos de Santa Clara.
Recorriendo
el Museo junto al Primer Secretario del Partido y el Vicepresidente del
Gobierno en la provincia.
Acompañados por el primer secretario del Partido en Villa Clara, Omar
Ruiz Martín, y el vicepresidente del Gobierno en el territorio, Israel
Ramos Izquierdo, los recién egresados recorrieron áreas del Complejo
Escultórico Memorial y guardaron un minuto de silencio ante los nichos
del Che y sus compañeros de la guerrilla, caídos en tierras bolivianas.
Marco Montilla, el joven abogado que durante más tiempo departió con el
Comandante en Jefe, expresó que lo encontró firme y lúcido como siempre,
trascendiendo con sus ideas. "Fidel es un verbo inseparable de la vida",
refirió el jurista, quien explicó que entre los temas abordados en el
encuentro figuraron la lucha por la liberación de los Cinco
antiterroristas cubanos prisioneros en Estados Unidos, la doble moral
del imperio y su guerra mediática contra las fuerzas progresistas en
Latinoamérica, así como los efectos de la crisis económica mundial y los
cambios climáticos.
Para Triana Moricha la reunión resultó una experiencia inolvidable, la
cual le demostró una vez más que para conocer a Fidel solo basta hablar
con cualquier cubano, porque él es la síntesis de su pueblo."El
Comandante en Jefe está hecho un roble, se ve muy fuerte, habló durante
tres horas y media, nos hizo preguntas y reflexionó con nosotros sobre
diversos temas con una claridad extraordinaria, expresó emocionada la
joven.
Por su parte, Gisela León señaló que la cita superó todas las
expectativas. Narró que cuando se abrió la puerta y vieron a Fidel de
pie, firme, altivo; todo lo contrario a lo que han dicho de él los
medios de comunicación al servicio de los poderosos, comenzaron a llorar
de emoción. "Encontré a una persona muy humana, un hombre sencillo, que
nos impresionó por su inteligencia. El diálogo fue una clase magistral
en la que se abordaron los más disímiles temas".
Otra de las jóvenes participantes en el intercambio con el líder de la
Revolución fue Iriesmar Parada, quien expresó que resultó una feliz idea
escoger a Fidel como padrino de la graduación, lo cual constituye una
gran responsabilidad ante los pueblos, porque se trata de uno de los
hombres más grandes de la historia americana, al que deben serle fieles.

el nicho que guarda los restos del Che.
Ayer conocimos a Fidel y hoy tenemos el honor y el privilegio de rendir
tributo al Guerrillero Heroico, no puede haber mayor premio para un
joven latinoamericano , expresó Iván Osorio, quien pidió que
trasladáramos al pueblo cubano que el Comandante se ve muy bien, y como
ha dicho el presidente Chávez, Fidel está entero, hay Comandante para
rato.
"Es una figura imponente que transmite, a sus 83 años, una energía
imponente", sentenció Osorio, quien reconoció a nombre del grupo que el
encuentro les había cambiado el sentido de sus vidas, al adquirir un
compromiso muy grande que sabrán cumplir.
Conmovedoras resultaron las palabras expresadas por Juan Romero para
reconocer que, en la entrega desinteresada de cada uno de los médicos,
entrenadores, profesores y técnicos cubanos que prestan ayuda en
Venezuela, está el ejemplo de Fidel.
En horas de la tarde la comitiva recorrió el Monumento a la Acción
contra el Tren Blindado y la Comandancia del Che en la Universidad
Central Marta Abreu de Las ViIlas. La visita a Cuba concluirá mañana
martes con una visita a sitios históricos de la Ciudad Héroe de Santiago
de Cuba, desde donde partirán de regreso a Venezuela.
