Renowned Chinese researcher awarded

By virtue of his personal achievements and contributions to the development of bilateral exchange in the field of research, Professor Wang Weiguang, vice president of the Chinese Academy of Social Sciences, was awarded the category of assistant researcher of the Republic of Cuba.

A Doctor of Sciences and main expert of the Marxism Research and Construction Program, Dr. Weiguang has been deputy head of the Party School of the Central Committee of the Communist Party of China, where he headed important studies on the process of opening and modernization of his country, including practical issues related to socialist reform.

Among more that twenty books written by Dr. Weiguang are Mobility and Reform, Study and Practice of the Concept of Scientific Development, and The socialist conflict.

Wan Weiguang is attending the III Cuba-China Workshop on Social Sciences, held in Havana’s Palco Hotel.

El profesor Wang Weiguang, vicepresidente ejecutivo de la Academia de Ciencias Sociales de China, recibió la categoría de investigador colaborador de la República de Cuba, en virtud de sus méritos personales y contribución al desarrollo del instercambio bilateral en esta esfera.

Doctor en Ciencias y experto principal del Programa de Investigación y Construcción del Marxismo, Weiguang se desempeñó como vicepresidente de la Escuela del Comité Central del Partido Comunista de China, y dirigió importantes estudios vinculados al proceso de apertura y modernización del país asiático, incluidos los problemas prácticos de la reforma socialista.

Tiene publicados más de veinte libros, entre ellos Movilidad y Reforma, Estudio y Práctica del Concepto de Desarrollo Científico, y Los conflictos socialistas.

Wan Weiguang participa en el III Taller de Ciencias Sociales Cuba China, que sesiona en el capitalino hotel Palco.
