There is a reason behind his freeloading
A mercenary carries out new orders from the empire

Were it not for his treasury of accepting a shameful job of serving the policy of aggression to twist our reality and help the anti Cuban campaign, I would not take the trouble to deal with the counterrevolutionary activities of “El Camajan” (Fhe Freeloader)

The word Camaján will remain in our vocabulary, defining an opportunist who stands out by his multiple roles within the “dissident game” of earning money and maintaining his way of life to the fullest.

After our charges of hypocrisy and material and political ambition, this personage, magnified by anti-Cuban propagandahas tried to recover his protagonism before foreign services with new strategies to continue filling his pockets with money and feeding his ego. He even had the nerve to offer his services to the organs of State Security and become the alleged agent, Juana, Elizardo Sánchez Santacruz

Now, in his game of living off degrading the Revolution he is presented as an “international politician” whose profession is to “observe human rights” although his money forte continues to be reports on prisoners on the premise that the more prisoners he reveals the more money he will receive.

Lacking other scenarios and arguments, the subject of counterrevolutionary prisoners has become the main argument to supporting his accusations and media campaigns against our country in international forums.

And towards this end, Elizardo loyally complies with his mission: “Prisoners in Cuba – he says – are subjected to inhuman conditions, with poor medical attention, the atmosphere of concentration camps, poor nutrition, they do not receive drinking water and contamination is sometimes visible.

These degrading claims increased in force when another group appeared threatening his interests in the competition for money; another group of “camajanes” self-named “rapporteurs of human rights” who also want allowances from the United States and some nations of the European Union who go along with this policy against Cuba. This new group is sponsored by the Miami Mafia through the so-called Cuban Liberty Council and its main spokesperson is the roly-poly Ninoska Pérez.

El Duende of Miami reported that, regarding receiving money from abroad, the rivals of Sánchez Santacruz declared to a Miami radio station that “they had no problem receiving economic aid from anyone, even foreign governments”.

A few days ago, Elizardo held a counterrevolutionary event at the headquarters of the “Human Rights and National Reconciliation Commission” (which has been his money-earning front) with a photographic exhibition that once again was a unique manner for his personal benefit, his shady condition.

In one obvious action to somehow jusfify the money he receives, he set up a showing of photographs of medicines, articles of personal toiletries, office material and subversive literature “for use by prisoners”.

But as expected, in the afternoon of December 6 more than a dozen representatives of the diplomatic corps as well as 16 elements of internal counterrevolution were present.

What they did not know when they accepted the invitation, was that Sánchez Santacruz, like a true Camaján, opened it earlier in the morning inviting 13 foreign press agencies accredited in Cuba to capitalize his image. He offered a conference on the alleged increase of political repression in the country and, also, announced that the Cuban government could adopt repressive measures against him for these activities including his arrest and trial.

His declarations immediately showed up in the headlines of the transnational media although many of those who attended knew that what El Camaján wanted was to steal the show as he has always said “he who hits first hits twice”.

Of course, the diplomats who were supporting the activities of Elizardo in his publicity stunt, were not upset. El Camaján fulfilled his work plan, most of all when he used that plaintive phrase of “remember the prisoners who suffer”.

A colleague says that after the event, Elizardo prepares for the sweet life and as he always done “will take a well-deserved respite” where he will surely be asking with crossed fingers, for the new year to bring in a change in the country.

LUST FOR PROMINENCE

It is very true that El Camaján has been very busy during the past months confronting his rivals in the disputed market of anti-Cuban propaganda.

When one of his new rivals were asked their opinion for the Miami press on the violation of human rights perpetrated by the terrorist Luis Posada Carriles he answere that “he was unaware of what Posada Carriles had done and that dissidents to believe accusations made against him”.

It seems that Elizardo Sánchez felt they wanted to “pull the rug from under his feet” and did not falter. In an interview granted to Francis Robles of the Miami Herald, she asked his opinion about the liberation of Posada Carriles, Elezardo said: “…Cuba will wage great attacks although, in truth, they have been doing it for years…”

These desires for prominence and interest in gathering merits to get attention regarding to the paid interests of the enemy abroad have found in El Camaján Elizardo many other apocalyptical projects in his statements to please USIS [The U.S. Interests Section] and the embassies of several European embassies in Havana, primarily Germany, Poland and the Czech Republic.

Some of these statements are: - “Unless there is a miracle, the international community must be prepared, at least in a short period, to continue receiving only bad news about the situation of civilian, political and economic rights in Cuba”. - “We must give up all hope of a solution through political means with the current regime in Cuba because there is a supreme will, hidden in a bunker that opposes all forms of transition.” - “The situation of human rights in Cuba under the 11 month interim government of Raúl Castro is markedly unfavorable”.

Over and over again the counterrevolutionary intends to offer arguments to strengthen the political aggression against our people, calling on the international community “not to relax in inertia” and not to lower the guard in face of the “attempts of a totalitarian continuance in Cuba”.

This is the good service El Camaján is offering the Bush administration and the terrorist Miami Mafia who rely on many justifications to continue with their plans for an intervention.

And, allegedly, Elizardo offers “proof” that the news agencies swallow up: - “the secret trials break the rule for the past 20 years of the Cuban government to allow assistance to relatives, friends and independent lawyers access to the prisoners”.

On this subject he has barefacedly manipulated the trials of citizens José Oscar Sánchez Madam and Rolando Jiménez Posada. Elizardo totally distorted the case against José Oscar Sánchez and made public accusations to news agencies claiming that the trial was speedy, secret, without the presence of family members nor defense lawyers. What occurred, in fact, was that José Oscar was arrested and detained for habitual vagrancy that was immediately communicated to his mother, Luz Divina Madam Santacruz, while he was defended by a pro bono lawyer named Maritza Guerra González.

During the oral hearing Sánchez Madam alleged to have stable work as an “independent journalist” for a private press service in the United States and for which he received a salary through Cuban banking institutions.

As for Rolando Jiménez Posada, the Camaján Elizardo Sánchez also made a dubious presentation to foreign press assuring that the individual was sentenced in a secret trial accused of being a dissident lawyer who was not allowed to defend himself and was tried in absentia.

In this case he also lied shamelessly. Jiménez Posada was tried in a municipal court on October 10. Initially the detainee claimed he wanted to defend himself as a lawyer; later he gave up that idea and he was granted a pro bono lawyer who maintained good communication. He was sentenced for revelation of Secret and Agravated Contempt. In his appearance in court he acknowledged the first crime but denied the second one. He was informed of his Right of Appeal which he refused. Of course, like the “Cheshire cat” that demonstrated his opportunism and the double standard which typifies his actions in contexts that he considers would offer a certain political tension, Elizardo demonstrates why he is a camaján.

For example, shortly after the Summit of the Non-Aligned Movement in Havana, I visited Buenaventure, in the Calixto García municipality bordering on Las Tunas. And during a gathering in the house of friends they told me the story of how Elizardo Sánchez Santacruz likes to hide out in Las Tunas when things got too hot in Havana.

There he organized his feasts and loved pompous receptions. He likes to be called “professor”, emphasizing his egomania and his “buddies” know that and they use the title with full intentions to see if some of the money he receives from the empire and his closest associates, comes their way.

One of them told me that during a gathering in Las Tunas they were told that the “professor” was around and when he realized who they mentioned, asked “professor of what?” And among the laughter someone answered: Elizardo Sánchez Santacruz.

Despite the chuckles, I had to correct what Arleen Rodríguez Derivet and I had explained: Elizardo knows full well who he is: a mercenary who follows orders of the empire and a freeloader who enjoys himself when he endangers the security of Cubans.

Un mercenario cumple nuevas órdenes del imperio

Si no fuera por su alevosía de asumir el empleo indigno de la servidumbre a la política de agresión para tergiversar nuestra realidad y facilitar así la campaña anticubana, no me tomaría el trabajo de retomar las actividades contrarrevolucionarias de El Camaján.

El Camaján quedará registrado en nuestra época como el elemento oportunista que sobresale por la capacidad histriónica para asumir papeles multifacéticos dentro del "juego disidente" con tal de ganar dinero y mantener un modo de vida "a todo tren".

Después de nuestra denuncia sobre la hipocresía y ambiciones materiales y políticas de este personaje magnificado por la propaganda anticubana, donde llegó hasta a ofrecerse para colaborar con los órganos de la Seguridad del Estado y se convirtió en el supuesto agente Juana, Elizardo Sánchez Santacruz ha tratado de recuperar protagonismo ante los servicios extranjeros con nuevas estrategias para seguir llenándose los bolsillos de dinero y alimentar su ego.

Ahora, en su rejuego de vivir bien a costa de denigrar a la Revolución, es presentado como "un político internacional" que tiene como profesión la de "observador de derechos humanos", aunque su fuente de caudal financiero siguen siendo los informes sobre los presos, a partir del presupuesto de que mientras más reclusos relate, más dinero recibe.

A falta de otros escenarios y argumentos, el tema de los reclusos contrarrevolucionarios se ha constituido en el principal argumento para intentar sustentar acusaciones y campañas mediáticas contra nuestro país en foros internacionales.

Y en esa subordinación, Elizardo cumple a cabalidad su cometido: "Los presos en Cuba —dice—, están sometidos a condiciones infrahumanas, con una pobre atención médica, en una atmósfera de campos de concentración, una alimentación pésima, no reciben agua potable y a veces es visible la contaminación".

Estas denigrantes aseveraciones las fue acentuando cuando surgió contra sus intereses en la competencia por el dinero, otro grupo de camajanes autodenominados "relatores de derechos humanos" que quieren también la mesada del gobierno norteamericano y de los países de la Unión Europea que acompañan a esa política contra Cuba.

Ese nuevo grupo está apadrinado por la mafia de Miami, mediante el llamado Consejo por la Libertad de Cuba, de la cual es su vocera principal la redonda Ninoska Pérez.

Dice El Duende de Miami que sobre el dinero que esperan recibir del exterior, el rival de Sánchez Santacruz, declaró en una radio de Miami que "no tenemos complejo de recibir ayuda económica de nadie, inclusive de un gobierno extranjero".

Hace pocos días, Elizardo realizó una actividad contrarrevolucionaria en la sede de su "Comisión de Derechos Humanos y Renconciliación Nacional" (que le ha servido de fachada para su labor de enriquecimiento) con el fin de mostrar una exposición fotográfica, aunque le sirvió para probar una vez más su singular manera de buscar provecho personal, su condición de fulledo.

En una evidente acción que busca justificar de alguna manera el dinero que recibe, expuso junto a las fotografías una muestra de medicamentos, aseo personal, materiales de oficina y literatura subversiva, "destinados a los reclusos".

Pero tal y como había previsto, en horas de la tarde del pasado día 6 de diciembre acudieron más de una docena de representantes del Cuerpo Diplomático, así como 16 elementos de la contrarrevolución interna.

Lo que ninguno de ellos sabía a la hora de aceptar la invitación, era que Sánchez Santacruz, como Camaján al fin, adelantó la actividad y en horas de la mañana invitó a 13 agencias de la prensa extranjera acreditada en Cuba con el propósito de capitalizar su imagen. Ofreció una conferencia donde hizo referencia a un supuesto incremento de la represión política en el país y, además, anunció que el Gobierno cubano podía adoptar medidas represivas contra él por haber realizado la actividad, incluyendo su detención y procesamiento.

Sus declaraciones favorecieron de inmediato los titulares apetecidos por las transnacionales informativas, aunque muchos de los que asistieron sabían que El Camaján lo que quería era robarse el show, pues él mismo ha manifestado "que el que golpea primero siempre da doble".

Por supuesto que para los diplomáticos que subvencionan las actividades de Elizardo este oportunista pasaje publicitario no los contrarió mucho. El Camaján cumplió su plan de trabajo, sobre todo cuando uso aquella frase plañidera de "recordar a los presos que sufren".

Dice un colega que después de este acto, Elizardo se prepara para su dulce vida y, como acostumbra, irá "a un merecido descanso" donde seguramente estará pidiendo con los dedos cruzados para el nuevo año un cambio en el país.

LUJURIA POR EL PROTAGONISMO

No es menos cierto que El Camaján ha tenido una intensa actividad en los últimos meses para enfrentar a sus rivales en el disputado mercado de la propaganda anticubana.

Cuando a uno de sus nuevos competidores le pidieron opinión para la prensa de Miami sobre las violaciones de derechos humanos perpetradas por el terrorista Luis Posada Carriles, respondió que "ignoraba lo que había hecho Posada Carriles y que los disidentes no dan crédito a las acusaciones que se hacen contra él".

Al parecer, en ese momento Elizardo Sánchez sintió que le quieren "serruchar el piso" y no se quedó atrás. En una entrevista concedida a Francis Robles, del Miami Herald, donde se indaga su opinión en torno a la liberación del terrorista Posada Carriles, Elizardo señaló: "¼ Cuba ahora hará grandes ataques, aunque en realidad se están haciendo desde hace años¼ "

Esas ansias de protagonismo e interés de hacer méritos para captar la atención en torno a intereses retribuidos por el enemigo en el exterior, han tenido en El Camaján Elizardo muchas otras proyecciones apocalípticas en sus afirmaciones para agradar a la SINA y las embajadas de varios países europeos en La Habana, sobre todo Alemania, Polonia y la República Checa. Algunas como estas:

-"A menos que ocurra un milagro, la comunidad internacional debe prepararse, al menos a corto plazo, para seguir recibiendo solamente malas noticias en cuanto a la situación de derechos civiles, políticos y económicos en Cuba".

-"Hay que abandonar toda esperanza de una solución por los cauces políticos con el actual régimen de Cuba, porque hay una voluntad suprema, metida dentro de un bunker, que se opone a toda transición".

-"La situación de los derechos humanos en Cuba, bajo el gobierno interino de Raúl Castro desde hace 11 meses, es marcadamente desfavorable".

Una y otra vez, el contrarrevolucionario pretende brindar argumentos para arreciar la política agresiva contra nuestro pueblo, llamando a la comunidad internacional "a no dejarse llevar por la inercia" y a no bajar la guardia ante "los intentos de un continuismo totalitario en Cuba".

Ese es el buen servicio de El Camaján a la administración Bush y la mafia terrorista de Miami, quienes han utilizado sobradamente esos elementos como justificación para llevar adelante los planes de una intervención.

Y, supuestamente, Elizardo ofrece "evidencias", que así recogen las agencias cablegráficas:

-"Los juicios secretos rompen la regla de los últimos 20 años del propio gobierno cubano de permitir asistir a familiares, amigos y abogados independientes a los procesosA".

En ese tema ha hecho una desvergonzada manipulación de los juicios a los que fueron sometidos los ciudadanos José Oscar Sánchez Madam y Rolando Jiménez Posada.

Sobre José Oscar Sánchez, Elizardo distorsionó totalmente lo ocurrido a este ciudadano e hizo la denuncia ante agencias cablegráficas de que se le realizó un juicio sumarísimo, secreto, sin presencia de familiares ni abogado de la defensa. Lo verdaderamente ocurrido fue que José Oscar fue detenido y procesado por vagancia habitual, lo cual fue comunicado de inmediato a la madre del detenido, Luz Divina Madam Santacruz, mientras que en el proceso José Oscar fue defendido por la abogada de oficio nombrada Maritza Guerra González.

En la vista oral, Sánchez Madam alegó tener vínculo laboral estable como "periodista independiente" con una agencia de prensa privada en los Estados Unidos y devengaba un salario que le enviaban a través de "instituciones bancarias cubanas".

En cuanto a Rolando Jiménez Posada, El Camaján Elizardo Sánchez también hizo una tenebrosa presentación ante la prensa extranjera, asegurando que este individuo había sido condenado en juicio secreto como abogado disidente, que no se le permitió su autodefensa y que fue juzgado en ausencia.

En este caso también mintió descaradamente. Jiménez Posada fue juzgado en el tribunal municipal de 10 de Octubre. Inicialmente el detenido manifestó que se autodefendería a partir de su condición de abogado, luego desistió de esa idea y se le designó un abogado de oficio, con quien mantuvo buena comunicación. Fue sancionado por revelación de Secreto y Desacato Agravado. En su intervención ante el tribunal reconoció el primer delito, pero no aceptó el segundo. Se le informó su derecho al Recurso de Casación, lo cual rehusó.

Por supuesto, cual "gatica de María Ramos", donde se demuestra su oportunismo y el doble rasero que caracteriza su actuación en contextos que considera políticamente de cierta tensión, Elizardo prueba que no por gusto es un camaján.

Por ejemplo, poco después de la Cumbre del Movimiento de los No Alineados que tuvo lugar en La Habana, fui de visita a Buenaventura, capital del municipio Calixto García, colindante con la provincia de Las Tunas. Y durante una tertulia en casa de unos conocidos me contaron la historia de cómo a Elizardo Sánchez Santacruz le gusta escabullirse para Las Tunas cuando advierte que las cosas se le pueden complicar en La Habana.

Allí organiza sus comelatas y le encanta el recibimiento pomposo. Gusta mucho de que le llamen "profesor", eso resalta su egolatría y los "bichos" lo saben, lo nombran así con toda intención para ver si suelta algún dinero del que le manda el imperio y sus más cercanos acólitos.

Uno de los presentes en la tertulia contó que en Las Tunas le hablaron de que en la zona andaba por aquellos días el "profesor" y cuando supo de quién se trataba, exclamó: ¿profesor de qué, chico? Y entre carcajadas alguien respondió: de camajanería, compadre.

No obstante el choteo, me vi obligado a rectificar lo que ya una vez aseveramos Arleem Rodríguez Derivet y el que suscribe: Elizardo sabe perfectamente quién es él: un mercenario que cumple órdenes del imperio y un vividor que goza cuando pone en peligro la seguridad de los cubanos.
